Questions about VibeKin
Is VibeKin free?
Yes, VibeKin is free to download on Android and free to use. The free version gives you a daily horoscope, your natal chart wheel with Sun, Moon and rising, the first sections of your reading, a compatibility score and preview reading with each person you add, one Moon Card a day, and Question of the Day with friends. VibeKin Plus, an optional subscription, unlocks the full readings and chat with Lumi.
How much does VibeKin Plus cost?
VibeKin Plus costs $2.99 a month or $12.99 a year, and the yearly plan starts with a 3-day free trial. Prices are listed in US dollars, and Google Play shows your local price at checkout. You can cancel anytime in Google Play. The subscription covers the full natal reading, chat with Lumi, full compatibility readings with everyone you add, every day of your calendar and every question pack.
How accurate are VibeKin's birth charts?
VibeKin's charts are astronomically precise: planet positions come from NASA JPL's DE441 ephemeris, the planetary data used to navigate spacecraft, computed through the Swiss Ephemeris library by Astrodienst. Positions are accurate to a fraction of an arcsecond for any birth date from 1800 to 2399. Your rising sign and houses are only as accurate as the birth time you enter, so the exact time matters.
What makes VibeKin different from other astrology apps?
VibeKin reads your whole natal chart, not just your sun sign, and then brings in the people close to you. It compares full birth charts with your family, friends and partners, and Lumi, its AI guide, knows every planet, house and aspect in your chart along with today's sky. The astronomy comes from NASA JPL data, and VibeKin does not sell your data or train AI models on it.
What is Lumi?
Lumi is VibeKin's AI guide. It is given your computed chart — every planet, house and aspect — plus today's sky, so you can chat with it about yourself or your relationships. Lumi is built on large language models; it is not a human astrologer. Your conversations with Lumi are private: only you see them, never the people you add. Chatting with Lumi is part of VibeKin Plus.
How does VibeKin calculate compatibility?
VibeKin calculates compatibility with synastry, comparing both people's full natal charts. The 0–100 score comes from aspects within 6° between the two people's Sun, Moon, Venus and Mars. Tighter aspects count more, and Sun–Moon, Moon–Moon and Venus–Mars contacts weigh the most; trines and sextiles add, while squares and oppositions subtract. Lumi then writes a four-part reading: your rhythm together, how you complement each other, how you grow together, and tips. It works for partners, friends and family.
Do I need my exact birth time for VibeKin?
Your exact birth time matters in VibeKin because your rising sign and your houses depend on it. Without a birth time, VibeKin still places every planet in its sign, so you can still read your planets by sign. What you can't trust without the exact time is your rising sign and your houses — and, if the Moon changed signs on the day you were born, the Moon's sign too.
Is VibeKin available on iPhone?
Not yet: VibeKin is available on Android through Google Play, and an iPhone version is in the works. The iPhone app is not in the App Store yet. In the meantime, the VibeKin website offers free compatibility guides for all 78 sign pairings, friendship compatibility, and a compatibility calculator by birthday or sign that runs right in your browser.
Is my data private on VibeKin?
Yes. VibeKin does not sell your personal data and does not train AI models on it. You decide what the people you add can see, and your conversations with Lumi are private: only you see them, never your Kin. On the VibeKin website, the compatibility calculator runs in your browser, so the dates you enter are not sent anywhere.
What languages is VibeKin available in?
VibeKin is available in four languages: English, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish and Russian. You can use both the app and the website in any of them, so your chart, your daily horoscope and your compatibility readings come to you in the language that feels most like home.
